Lefroy Resources Limited is a Perth based
company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (clicker: LEF).
Since October 2007, the Company has been involved
in the exploration of Uranium across a large tenement holding
covering over 30,000ha, located in Chile and Peru. Of particular
interest is the Tarapaca region in Chile, which has shown
significant visible uranium mineralisation and exhibits extensive
strike potential. All of the Chilean projects are close to major
infrastructure.
Prior to Lefroy's involvement, no systematic
exploration or drilling had been undertaken on any of the
projects. Since this time, Lefroy has conducted extensive
Radiometric Surveys and has taken numerous soil samples for
geochemical analysis, which has enabled the Company to start to
define the extent and position of Uranium Anomalies, and recently
embarked on a drilling programme to determine the distribution and
grade of the mineralisation.
